Fee, Format, and Rule Summary


Under 6 through Under 8 rule modifications
- Under 6 through Under 8 playing format does not include a keeper.
- Players may not use their head to deliberately play the ball.
- Substitutions may only be made between quarters or at half time.
- It is mandatory that each player participate in at least 50 percent of each game he or she attends. If a player shows up after a match has started in an Under 4 through Under 8 game he or she must play at least one of the remaining quarters.
Under 9 and Under 10 rule modifications
- The goalkeeper may not punt or drop kick the ball.
- A build out line will be marked on the field between the penalty area and the half line.
- When the goalkeeper has possession of the ball in his or her hands the opposing team must move behind the build out line.
- During a goal kick the opposing team must move behind the build out line.
- Offside will not apply between halfway line and the build out line.
- Players may not use their head to deliberately play the ball.
- It is mandatory that each player participate in at least 50 percent of each game he or she attends he or she must play at least half of the remaining time in the game.
Under 11 and Under 12 rule modifications
- Players may not use their head to deliberately play the ball.
- It is mandatory that each player participate in at least 50 percent of each game he or she attends he or she must play at least half of the remaining time in the game.
Under 13 through Under 19 rule modifications
- It is mandatory that each player participate in at least 50 percent of each game he or she attends he or she must play at least half of the remaining time in the game.
TOURNAMENT PREPARATION
STEP ONE
Use the link to print the medical release. A medical release must be completed for every player that will be participating on your team for the tournament.
*It is not necessary to upload the individual Medical Release forms to your team account in GotSoccer. You must however have these available during the tournament.
PREPARE PAPERWORK
We advise that team managers or coaches start working on this step right away as you will need to get signatures from other coaches and associations. The area below is designed to assist you in understanding and gathering all the paperwork that will be needed for this tournament.
*The deadline to submit paperwork is Friday, May 8th at 12pm.
*If paperwork is not submitted on time a $25 fee may be assessed
Use the link to print the medical release acknowledgment. This form must be completed by a coach or team manager.
*You must upload the Medical Release Acknowledgment form to your team account in GotSoccer.
Use the document link to print the guest player release form. If you are not going to have guest players on your team for the tournament then you will not need to complete this form
*The guest player release form must be signed by your home association registrar. Your home association may charge a fee for this service.
*If you have Guest Players you must upload the Guest Player Release form to your team account in GotSoccer.

SUBMIT PAPERWORK
Instructions on how to complete this step can be found in the document link. Be sure you have all documents completely filled out with signatures, player ID, etc. before uploading. You will only be contacted if there are issues with your uploaded paperwork.

Note this is only the single Medical Release Acknowledgment form signed by the team manager or coach not each medical release for each individual player.
Travel Papers (If a Non-NTX Team)
This is only necessary for USYSA teams that are not in NTSSA. If this applies to you or you are travelling and are not sure if it applies to you please contact the tournament director at tournamentdirector@cfbsa.org for further information.
NTSSA Guest Player Release Forms (Refer to Step 1)
This is only necessary if your team has guest players participating in the tournament. All guest player forms must have a Player ID number and the appropriate signatures.
Official NTSSA Roster
The NTSSA Official Roster must be signed by your head coach and association's registrar.

PRINT GAMES CARDS
You will be notified via e-mail when the tournament is approaching when it is time to print your game cards. Instructions will be included in the message on how to proceed.
Be sure to show up to all games at least 15 minutes early and carry all of your paperwork with you.
